Help! .mds/.mdf files I have a game in the form of .mds and .mdf. WTF? I know they are image files etc that can be dealt with in Alcohol 120% but for some really strange reason my pc wont let me view them. View as in open the folder they are in or browse to them. If i open the folder in My Computer, the window closes straight away and I get the prompt to send an error report to bill gates and the crew. If I browse to the files in Alcohol 120% when trying to pick a file to burn to disk, the whole program closes instantly. I had a total pain in he arse problem a few months ago when i put a .mds file on my desktop so I was getting errors over and over whith no space in between to even navigate or try to delete anything. I solved it by logging into a different username where there was no .mds file on the desktop but it took a while. Anyone have any idea at all why this is happening?
Download 'Daemon Tools' and mount the image, you will be able to install the game or view the files that way. As for the actual Alcohol issue, I aint a clue.
Exactly the same thing happens.. I need a way of entering a path to a file manually rather than browsing to otherwise the windows and programs crash whenever i try to view the file.
