Help a thick **** please! Im trying to copy a set onto a blank cd, to be played in a cd player. Ive done it before but cant seem to this time. Im using Winows Media Player to do it. Ive selected the file to be copied. It says 'Insert a blank cd into the drive'. I do, and nowt happens. I wonder if it might be a formatting issue, but i know nothing about formatting cds. Im sure the cd is formatted, because it asked me if i wanted to when i put it in, and i clicked yes. Ideas please?
Nero Audio Wizard - Formatting CD's for Audio use in a CD Player - If you stick in a blank cd and do NOTHING to it, you could have then gone on to press "copy now" or whatever it is and it would copy, that's what I have been doing recently as I am too lazy to download Nero.
this bloke i work with reckons nero is wank aswell!! i duno why though, i reckon its a piece of piss and its so much quicker then any others iv tried (such as windows)
I always use media player with no probs (touch wood) but i also have nero which ive never attempted to use.... Can you shorten files ie a set over 80mins long using Nero?
i use nero primarily, but alcohol 120% is crackin for DVDs - much more control over read errors, sectors, etc.... DVD Decryter is also canny....
Dont laugh at me u geeks. I attempt thing like this very rarely, and when i do something always goes wrong. Sorted now i think.
