Hellboy II Watched this last night and really enjoyed. It was really good, but for me personally it somehow didn't quite meet it's potential. I feel quite bad saying that as Del Toro is probably my favourite director working today. It's well directed, the production design is lush, as is the costume design and cinematography. In fact, every aspect of the film is excellent - but as a whole it didn't quite kick my arse as I was expecting it too. The humour from the first film is noticably ramped up (there's a funny as fuck scene with Hellboy and Abe that had me creased) and the new additions to the cast such as Johann Krauss work really well. All in all, really enjoyed it. Just not as much as I thought i would. 7/10.
I seen this last week , i enjoyed it , thought it was quite funny but definitely could have been better !!
