geordie was having a hard time shifting his sony's - might be worth giving him a shout. Sony 700s = The Battle tanks of all headphones. fucking love mine
£50 for mine Lee. They are more or less brand new and i wont be using them again now ave flogged me setup.
I'm still after some hd25's but dont wanna pay full bat for them, anyone know anybody with a spare/unused set let me know. cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
PM or drop me a text mate I have a few pairs, I could happily part with a pair that have never been used. How much you looking to spend?
im toying with the idea of some wireless ones but they get tanked abit in reviews and im not paying nearly 300 quid for some seinheisers, im just after a decent pair thats not gonna snap when i touch em and wont sound like a cat having a piss
IMO i hate them like, great sounding but the mobility of them is cack. and sienheisers look like they'll snap if i use them
when i went to buy my first set the guy in the shop took the headband and bent it 180° the wrong way. as this was something i planned on doing regularly, i bought a pair right away
I've only ever had 1 problem with headphones, the cable where the headphone jack on my Senny's had split & made the sound cut out now & again, other than that they seem more than durable. I tend to just monitor music with them & mix, if you bend, squash, pull anything plastic im sure after a while or with enough force it would snap. Senny's are light & the sound quality is the best out of all the different makes i've bought over the years, there a little pricey but they do last the duration, I've used the same ones as I play all my gigs with for about 3 years now & never had any problems & the sound is still blob on.
Ive used most of the good ones, and personally love these ones Possibly got a pair brand new, still boxed for £50 if ya interested
is it the NEW model with the reinforced swivvel points? i've had mine for years - they're falling apart and held together with cable ties but still do the trick!!
Had my HD25's for about 3 years and the only thing thats wrong with them is a slight rip in the ear pads and one of the head bands is snapped from where i jumped on it fair play really Avoid the Sonys if you like getting massively on it while mixing.
when i bought mine and told everyone i'd bought them all i heard was a sharp intake of breath of everyone and then was told to prepare for them snapping i've had them for a year now and they're still as good as they were when i bought them, and thats after constant pissed abuse dropping/throwing/stretching them too.
