I wish i could keep up with some of my mates

One of em as u know dave has well over 3000 Plastics

The other ones have 1200's and the best gear

Ive had to chop me Visa's up coz i kept going on the net and seeing tunes i wanted and thinking nothing of it - gets far too tempting - its more tempting than walking past a sweet shop when little and wanting Panini Stickers or some doods :D :D

Having no money certainly does suck. I get my tunes once a week, around 5 or 6 at a time. Recently though, when I've been skint, I've jus been gettin 'em as early birthday presents! :p

Gerodie, what would you class as "the best gear"? As of today (Well, yesterday, it's after 12), I'm the proud owner of a DJM600 to accompany my 1210s. Of course, this is just me bragging! :p

i usually go to hmv/alan fearnley records on a monday to see what they got then order from juno etc on the night time...then every other week put a midweek order in from only-djs just to keep the vinyl rolling in!!

but lately ive been just sticking to the shops!!my card wont allow the net shops!!!grrrr

i just bought 1210s and a vestax pcv275 in the summer!!

i opted to buy a quality mixer and then get a caos pad or something for effects later than go all out for the djm range...still aint sure if ive made the right choice although the crssfader on my mixer is gods gift to the earth!!!

    I would be more than happy with 1210'2 / 1200's and a DJM600 or a Vestax PCV275 - id be sorted for life then really :D :D

I have @ the moment Gemini XL 500 Mk2 and Gemini Mixer which im hapy with - for the time being there more than suitable while i get used to it all - there no point in me spending loads when i cant do fuck all with them :p :p

   @ bigdaves setup like....

I can see a future ahead here like ;)

Well I'm selling my 275, which is a little over a yr old, for £250.

The 275 is a very high quality mixer, but it's absolutely nothing on the 600!

Having no cash sucks, especially when you don't get paid until 27th December and you've got to pay £68 for train tickets for January that usually only cost £20!!!
