hard drive space going missing?

    hard drive space going missing?

    my hard drives thinks ive only got 400 meg left whe i know theres closer to 2gig free?... any ideas?..

    any programs i can use to fix it as i need the space asap :p

    cud be..

    it happens after ive downloaded a largish file (films/sets) and then the space remains the same even after they are deleted?



    im not having fun.. just rendered 6hrs worth of film.. tried burning to dvd from mac and the dvd rw wont read on my pc :cry: :cry:

    Are you running Norton AV?? If so, it could be that the Norton Protected Recycle Bin is keeping a copy. I found that out when it held onto every *.nrg image I did in Nero until my drive filled up.

    Just a thought.

    yeah i am.. looking thru the files now and turning down the % drive usage :up:
