haven't they blow up bridges and set fire to offical palestine buildings?!?! all for 1 soldier? it showed all the tanks and vechiles massing, ready to pile in  defo going overboard!

THEN they even got their planes to fly past the cyrian palace in a DONT JOIN IN type threat!

all the military might doesn't always work against guerilla tactics

in fairness sonic booming the syrians was a genius stroke :king:

I personally think Hamas are baiting the Israeli army... I don't understand for what purpose - but they're risking innocent civilian lives.

Hamas holds influence over the militant groups that made the release demands.... In addition to this whenever Hamas have been interviewed in relation to Cpl Shalit they have said they supported the kidnapping.

in which case, you're right, they are baiting them - and i can see no reason for it - whatever israel do to them is fair game, it's just unfortunate that civilians will bare the brunt of it, which will cause more hatred for israel in the palestinian people yada yada never ending circle :(

I think Israel are coming on far too strong, but think Hamas are equally responsible for provoking this response.... its a shame the palestinians suffer :(

SA80 - British made (they should have used the M16 which is American but gave the contract to a British company) The M16 is a more reliable weapon though, our special forces use it over the SA80 aswell

Challenger II - Made at Vickers on the Tyne

    Etc

I stand slightly corrected though as the new version of the SA80 is made by Heckler & Koch which is an Amercian company

They basically sorted out all its problems
