    Habit presents…….

“How To Get From ‘A’ to ‘B’ In 44 Steps”

Compiled and Mixed by Scott Udberg

Spring has arrived….. Well it certainly looks that way while this bit of text is being written. Of course we could be back to grey clouds and snow by the time you’re reading it.

The following mix has been compiled to see you through the coming months. Unlike some track selections that could be classed as being new, upfront, and possibly have a short shelf life I am hoping this will stay on your MP3 player, PC, Laptop or any other form of storage for some time and something you can go back to again and again.

I’ve put this together as a reflection of influences from a musical perspective & with the listener in mind. Some DJ’s entertain a particular genre, some will stick to the latest releases, others will only play 12” vinyl because MP3's just "aren't right" & believe it or not certain minorities will opt for records that cost them £150 because 10 copies were ever pressed.

Over the years I’ve always maintained that I would buy & collect records that created an appeal or reaction on a personal level, regardless of what category you want to put them in or the format they arrive. When putting this together I purposefully side stepped everything instantly “club” related in the hope that the next couple of hours would fit in on your way to work, the car stereo, BBQ’s, background music, around the pool (if you’re lucky enough to get away this year) and even at 7am when all those compilations comprising of everything this side of Berlin have been exhausted…..

There are 3 links provided. The first option is the mix in its entirety with no breaks which is ideal for those of you with enough space to hold it. The second has been split into 2 parts for those of you who wish to transfer it to CD or simply want to tackle it in shifts.

    Enjoy.
