    HABIT - JORIS VOORN & TOM MORGAN - FRIDAY 7th MARCH - COSMIC B

Habit introduce and exceptional & highly acclaimed Dutch techno DJ/Producers along with the welcome return of a firm Habit favourite.

    JORIS VOORN & TOM MORGAN

    Main Room:

    Joris Voorn & Scott Udberg

Joris Voorn is a producer, DJ, live act and a visual artist. Like many Dutchmen, he makes techno with a nod to Detroit, first pricking up ears in 2004 with the release of the 'The Lost Memories' EPs which included the big dance floor cuts 'Missing' and 'Incident', the latter of which became one of the most hammered anthems of the year. Since then Voorn has released two full lengths albums, 'Future History' and this year's 'From a Deep Place', both of which fused together deep house, old skool Detroit and even some ambient landscapes.

Aside from his own productions, Voorn also spins records - performing high energy DJ sets at the world's best clubs. In 2006 his debut mix compilation for Belgian club Fuse headed in a more minimal direction, fusing together Detroit classics with newer outings from Sleeparchive, Marc Houle and Matthew Dear.

More recently, Joris beat off high quality competition to win RA podcast of the year 2007: a fifty-four minute mix of deep house meets ambient with an emphasis on silky synths and even silkier vocals.

    In the Boudoir:

    Tom Morgan & Mark Johnson

Tom makes a welcome return to Habit after becoming a familiar face at the club over the last 2 years and headlines the Boudoir. His influences traverse the length of house music, from Danny Howells and Ralph Lawson to Francois Kevorkian and Danny Tenaglia. Playing a funk fuelled mix of disco, deep, tech and fresh progressive house.

Tom continues to play all over the globe; in a host of South American countries as well as regular gigs all over Europe. 2007 has seen the successful launch of his digital label, Discoteca Music, alongside Dana Bergquist, Erik Molthe and Somnus Corp.

i think its canny, bit arty how they used a smaller square space as opposed to the usual - which would be to use the whole space on the page

exploring innerspace to make room in the outer space perhaps?

or is it just that pinstripes rock?

I am allowed to have a personal opinion

you's are all bumming the poster

and grey is a gash colour, so I just dont get it at all

i aint dissing it , i am just not feeling it

I better qualify this with a ' i love danny and habit ' comment in case the saviour gets upset
