    HABIT - GOOD FRIDAY - DESYN MASIELLO & BENJI B - Cosmic B

Habit presents a special Good Friday double bill featuring a Habit favourite in Room One, and upstairs in the Boudoir, a highly influential young Radio One DJ.

    DESYN MASIELLO

After an unavoidable cancellation last Good Friday, Habit are delighted to welcome back crowd favourite Desyn Masiello.

Rising star is a term that has been used to describe Desyn Masiello on numerous occasions. In fact, Deep Dish, Danny Howells and Sander Kleinenberg have, at one point, all named London born Masiello as their 'future DJ Hero'. However, with an established international career, the future is now.

A DJ, A+R and owner of high quality labels such as Alternative Route, Sex on Wax and Symphonic, Desyn has steadily built his way to the upper echelons of the international circuit. His name is now synonymous with the most cutting edge dance music from all corners of the world. He has produced critically acclaimed compilations for Bedrock and Balance and continues to impress with a DJ style that is constantly evolving and pushing barriers.

    BENJI B

Benji B is a highly influential underground DJ. He presents his Deviation radio show on the BBC's 1xtra every Thursday night, and has developed a reputation over the last ten years as a skilled DJ, important musical tastemaker and award-winning radio producer and presenter. He is known to many as the “Deejay’s DJ" and is still only 26 years old.

Aged 16, Benji B started a radio programme with collaborator Gilles Peterson called Worldwide, and produced the live show for Kiss FM for two years. Eventually he was asked to re-mix, re-arrange and re-edit tunes for record labels and artists around the globe, including the likes of King Britt and Carl Craig.

His radio shows and DJ sets are musical journeys unique in clubland. He blends tunes from all genres of underground music – whether it be broken beat, hip-hop, house, garage, jazz, soul or Detroit techno.

    He fucking better!

To be fair when he cancelled last year it was the start of a few months off the circuit with exhaustion.

Nice one Granty. Have you been before mate?

DJ Mag are coming to take photos and do a feature for this one.

Really looking forward to seeing both DJs. Benji B should be excellent. He has asked for 3 CDJ's and 2 decks, supposed to have some serious skills. Be good to have a proper guest upstairs.

No   - I'm disgusted with myself. Every time I've made plans to come down, they've fallen through due to mates/bird/funds or all of the above :(

Not this time though - No chance!
