Half of multi-million selling duo Everything But The Girl and with a career spanning more than twenty-five years, from acclaimed early 80¹s folk- jazz solo recordings on London indie Cherry Red to a US Number 1 ŒMissing¹ with EBTG in 1995, Ben Watt's recent route to international DJ status came after his and partner Tracey Thorn's superb interpretations of electronica in the mid-nineties ŒWalking Wounded¹, ŒProtection¹ with Massive Attack, ŒTemperamental¹.

In 1998 Ben established the seminal London Deep House Sunday club
and compilation series, Lazy Dog, with Jay Hannan. Lazy Dog folded at
the top after five untouchable years of sell-out shows around the world and compilation sales of 100,000. In April 03, Ben launched his new independent record label & club night, Buzzin' Fly - a new benchmark on the club scene with a cluster of revered underground hits including his own ŒLone Cat¹, 'A Stronger Man' and ŒPop A Cap In Yo¹ Ass¹ and his brace of best-selling Buzzin¹ Fly mix CDs (Buzzin¹ Fly Vol 1 & 2). The label won Best Breakthrough Label at the House Music Awards 2004.

Now a central figure on London's club scene he DJs regularly in the capital as well as all over Europe, Australia and North America with regular sell -out shows in NYC, San Francisco and LA. 2005 saw him tour extensively on the festival circuit (Good Vibrations, Homelands, Coachella, Ibiza, Love box Weekender, Electric Picnic) and he currently fronts Buzzin¹ Fly¹s two new London residencies monthly underground Sundays at Plastic People, and quarterly events at The End.

Join Habit to witness a DJ at the very top of his game, making a very rare UK appearance outside of London, in the intimate surroundings of the Cosmic Ballroom. This is not to be missed.

DJ MAG Compilation of the month Buzzin' Ben has found the melody of minimal, electro and deep house all right. And he's made it his own. Nothing's missing, it's all here. 5/5." June 06

Hope some of you can make it to this one. I can assure you it will be anything but a deep house night.

Latest tracks from the Buzzin Fly camp have been appearing all over the place from a range of DJ's.

Rocco's - Roots For Acid recently appearing on John Digweeds Transitions CD, the Ame remix of Rodamaal - Insomnia is causing a a bit of a storm and has also been hammered on Tongs Essential Selection.

No doubt we will be hearing Dark Mountain Group - Lose Control which has developed into a bit of a Habit anthem of late.

    See u there :)

Ben Watt will deffo be banging out some tech/minimal. He played an hour of techno at the End last month.

His number one track at the minute is the rather splendid Luciano Yamore remix
