    JONATHAN LISLE

"A fucking wicked DJ with his own sound. His CD's blew me away" Sasha

"Bedrock OS2 ..it's the barometer by which every other prog album should be judged"
    5/5 DJ MAG

Newcastle born Jonathan was 'discovered' by John Digweed in 2001, who was so impressed with his unique sound and his live sets, he invited him to do a guest mix on his Kiss FM radio show and play at the infamous Bedrock. The mix was quite simply stunning, so much so, it prompted unheard of comparisons with what many regard as the greatest dance mix of all time, John and Sasha's Northern Exposure 2 CD. Digweed then felt it was absolutely necessary not only to keep booking Jonathan for his Bedrock nights in London & Brighton, but also to have him mix the 2nd installment of the Bedrock Original Series in 2005.

This year has seen more international gigs for Jonathan in over 15 countries as well as pushing the technical boundaries of mixing using 3 Denon DNS5000 CD decks [giving him 6 channels], FX and keyboards. His recent Art of Modern Mixing Sampler CD was recently released by DJ Mag, it explores the techier, minimal side of house and shows Jonathan’s true depth and talent as a world class DJ.

    NEIL QUIGLEY

Voted one to watch in 2006 DJ Mag poll by John Digweed, Danny Howells James Zabiela and Desyn Masiello

Neil Quigley is a growing success phenomenon.

He is a DJ held in such high esteem by John Digweed that Digweed now personally chooses Neil to warm up for him at his world famous Bedrock events. High praise indeed. Neil is no stranger to clubs though, for the last 2 years, he has been drawing crowds in with his unique melodic house sound, having appeared in the main room at venues such as Fabric, The End and The Cross in London, aswell as numerous clubs from Europe to South America and Global Gathering 2006.

His sound, which Neil refers to as ‘Electronic House with soul’, has gained him a loyal following of committed fans across the world. What most appreciate is his unwavering desire not to be sucked in by fashion. “Trendy fads come and go but I’m confident people will always return to simple melody to make them dance".

    Absolutely gutted about this

Great booking, I'm sure it'll be an awesome night. You should get that Lisle mix from Kiss100 linked up here for people - I'm sure it would persuade a few

Yeah, should be a good one.

Really looking forward to seeing both DJ's. Neil Quigley in particular, has done some great mixes. He is now Digweeds number one choice to warm up for him at Bedrock, so that says a lot in itself.

    Lisle is quality aswell.

Neil Quigley plays a bit of prog but is quite housey really. Very similar to Desyn at times. He is gonna be massive soon.

Jonathan Lisle trademark is prog and prog breaks, but he can also play quite a bit tougher and is dropping a bit of minimal/techy stuff these days.

    Should be interesting!

 especially if your girlfriend, like Nass', is a friend of mine, then I can bend their ears upstairs whilst Nass is getting on the rave downstairs.

Nasser - have you asked her mate?

I'm looking forward to this now, not least because I'll be doing the pre-party. My last Habit before I move to Leeds :(
