i hate jacqui smith and am sick of this ridiculous government. even you, dano, must surely agree that we'd be better with cameron's lot?

what's jacqui smith ever done for the country? i reckon we should boot her out and send her to nepal, and bring all of the gurkhas over here. this is shambolic.

Same same but different. What's Cameron ever done for this country? We'd be better off lining them all up against the wall.

Funny how the whole Gurkha thing kicked off a few months back when LABOUR were DEFEATED in the commons by the Libdems and Conservative MP's voting for doing something about giving Gurkha's rights which they had said they WERENT going to do.

Now Gordon Brown has had his arse kissed by Joanna Lumley today publically for his decision.

Now Joanna, are you so completely corrupt that you seem to have conveniently forgotten why you were fighting this in the first place, or is it just that you've had a sniff of the whole 'celebrity dabbling with politics' scene and now you've taken it upon yourself to change the world while conveniently forgetting the fact you were on telly a few months ago saying that Labour had to pull its finger out and stop refusing these people citizenship?

    Gimmie a break.

Whats been done today should have been done a while ago, but it just goes to show that stories like this are used to keep peoples attention from the fact that a bunch of lying, cheating scumbag vipers are in charge of this country and nothing short of a revolution is going to do anything about it.

Still. The Gurkha's rock. Regardless of the politics of the matter, its the greatest sacrifice on earth to give your life up for something, or put it on the line for something (Valid or not). Nuff respect.

I find it absolutely un-fucking-believable that us, the UK, the doormat to the world have made these poor folk APPLY to live in this country after serving us so boldly and courageously, fighting for US against foes all over the world. Yet we let immigrants, who do fuck all but beg, steal and borrow, stream in like river rats. Fucking disgusting.

As said before, Lumley for PM!!

true, he's not done anything (yet), but he should at least be given the opportunity, and at least he's one of the ones for letting the gurkhas live over here.

i feel quite strongly about this. my great-grandfather spent four years of wwii in india and burma with the gurkhas (i still have a wwii kukri at home). the fact that we're questioning their right to live here whilst letting hundreds of thousands of other people 'slip through the system' every year is abominable.

He would have quite happily opposed the idea if Labour had have been for it.
