Gullit states "The Problem that forced him out of NUFC job still remains there today" You dont say mate
Its all coming to light really isnt it, there was no hiding that Gullit and Shearer never seen eye to eye really after what happened with them two - i wont say case any mackems shoot there load !! I dont think Shearer was bigger than NUFC when Gullit/Dalglish/Keegan were there but as for Robson then he was and it just so happens the two managers to drop him left not long after :spangled: As much as i love Alan Shearer and for what he has done for NUFC/England i dont like any player bigger than the club, summit which until the end of the season he will be !
Gullit got the sack because the team was in the relegation zone, playing shite and needed a change. He compunded that by acting like a kid over the likes of Shearer, Lee,Pearce etc trying to get rid of any senior pros who'd challenge him. He also said the mackem derby wasn't important RUUUUUUUDY also signed Marcelino for 6mill
Ruud was bad for NUFC, no matter what anyone says. Shearer shouldn't of been dropped when he was there, Gullit got what he deserved!
guillit is a twat. everytime something is not quite right at newcastle that dick appears in a shitty newspaper giving some "i told you so" comment he was a fucking shite manager and made some of the worst signings in the history of the premiership
Re: Gullit states "The Problem that forced him out of NUFC job still remains there today" I agree although Gullit pretty much dug his own grave by making poor decisions without any obvious logic. Signing John Karelse and didn't he get Tommy Wright on loan? Maric was a poor decision as Marcelino turned out to be. Tbf Marcelino had been excellent for Mallorca and I was impressed you guys got him... if only I'd know Gullit didn't really give Guivarch the chance he deserved either. This was one of the hottest strikers in Europe when Dalglish convinced him to join you. Look at it as a lesson learned I guess. I don't think Shearer would've been too much of a prick in front of Dalglish and he didn't need to bully Keegan cos he fucking loved him. Gullit saw it and Robson got it. Is Shearer a problem behind the scenes? Yep. Was he a problem when Gullit was there? Yep. Gullit tried to control him but in the wrong way.
Re: Re: Gullit states "The Problem that forced him out of NUFC job still remains there today&qu Everyone else was injured, best we could do tbh!
