There old stuff is fantastic there album Dookie is wicked. Every time i hear Basket Case it reminds me of my teenage years.

The tune they did "time of your life" is such a tune!!!!!! Gonna play that at my funeral! Quite appropriate imo Basket case is also class

I was a massive Green Day (And general punk) fan a few years ago. They're good, but their older stuff was a lot better. Now everything seems to sound the same. 'Good Riddance' is one of the best records ever made though.
Agreed, Dookie was their best album, Insomniac wasn't so bad (Brain Stew ), Nimrod was utter shite, didn't think anything decent would come from them again and nowt did for a few years - but I'm suprised by American Idiot, it's rather good...
i'm inlove with their new album...its fuckin gawesome, psecially track 4, 5 & ...also when september ends! i'm going to be jet lagged to fuck having just landed from thailand when they play the arena but i don't care...wellso long as they play boulevard of broken dreams!
