Green Velvet Have completed my GV back catalogue today, big fan of wierd music. Anyone seen him live ?
???????? I doubt it, are you???? Haven't seen him myself but I've heard nothing but good about his set from T in the Dog this year.
Seen him quite a few times. Seen him Dj upstairs at the old riverside for Shindig years ago and seen him at T in the Park this year, he was fucking awesome played the instrumental version of La La Land and got on the mic to sing it live probs the highlight of the festival for me. Seen him play live about 4 or 5 years ago at Bugged Out when it was on at cream cant remember much about him playing live but can remember him being hard as nails and singing live over the top was going through my take loads of pills in a night phaze so its all a bit hazy. Him, Laurent Garnier and Dave Clarke are probs my favourite techno jocks.
Used to be bang into my techno when i was a we lad but have only just started getting back into it again, went to T in the Park this year and the slam tent was dirty techno for most of the weekend, GV, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Ritchie Hawtin, Slam to name a few, forgot how much i enjoyed it.
I have always been a techno fan, going back 8 years to the days of Gabba & Speedcore how I laugh @ the pictures from the Rez
Was just listening to some Gabba on Saturday and to be honest I really enjoyed some of it. Obviously there a time and a place for it (and I defintely normally would not visit that place) but I felt like I've missed out. Everyone was going on about the Rez's and stuff and I just had to sit and listen. Think I was almost convinced to go down to Leicester for one of Smurf's gabba b-day parties...
I'm thinking of going to the one on the 1st on glasgow, VIP just for the laughs at the jocks gurning to 300bpm techno
Was never really into gabba or speedcore and never went to any of the Rez's even tho loads of my pals used to save their dinner money up just so they could go.
sorry, try this: http://www.littledetroit.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=399 should work. It is worth the wait.
