Graphics Card My comp has a Trident Video Accelerator Cyber-XP4 but when i use I-Deas 10 in an open GL format, the screen freezes/unfreezes and nothing can be drawn in the program. Can this be fixed and if not what is a good new graphics card to buy? Running XP Pro
all u can do is try look for the most recent version of the drivers for that card, possibly with more OpenGL support. Don't just stick to the manufacturer for the drivers - google it - often better drivers are written by others.
the only other thing would be to get intouch with the software manufacturer, go on there website, check FAQs and get intouch with their helpdesk - they're bound to have had similar problems b4 - see what they've got to offer - they'll be able to give application specific support rather than our incompetent support. unless essay boy turns up
People have complained to Toshiba who make the card n they have got no response so ur not as incompetent as u think!
Makes sense as another program only runs in normal mode not openGL. Why the at 3d Labs? are they shit n if so what would be a good one to get that is of a similar standard to the card ive already got?
