    Graphics card/motherboard gone wrong...

My friend has a Dell Dimensino 8200, which up until recently worked perfectly.

Having put it together after the summer, it now comes up with a Plug & Play error on startup.

You can skip this, but when you get to Windows, you're stuck with 4 bit colour in 640x480 or whatever.

The graphics card is a PCI Nvidia, and when you go to device manager, it claims to not have enough 'resources' to run it.

This is where I'm out of my depth....what resources is it talking about? IRQ? DMA? How can I find out? Device manager lists no other conflicts.

    Help appreciated

    Fixed it.

Took a few cards out, swapped a few around, and it sorted itself out.

    Strange.
