Goodgreef vs. Sundissential New Years Day Mission Leeds – Early Bird Tickets SOLD OUT The first big party of the New Year happens when two of the biggest brands in the hard dance business collide for a dance floor tug of war on New Year’s Day! The iconic institutions involved in this battle of bosh are none other than Northern superpower Goodgreef and the original after party Kings, Sundissential! Goodgreef has had another intense year with a blistering barrage of parties in Ibiza, Creamfields, the Warehouse Project and a mammoth quota of parties across the UK! Sundissential is literally the essential after party. Having built their name by turning the Sabbath into a day for raving, they continue the weekend’s debauchery at full speed ahead. The combination of these two giants is guaranteed to cause an impending stampede amongst hard dance fans, even more so with the military theme adopted on the night! The Tug of War tussle between the two will be augmented by the optional military dress code, where Kinky Sergeants and Cheeky Corporals will be seen donning camouflage and artillery to battle the night away! Musically an event of this sheer size doesn’t fail to disappoint, with a huge feast of hard dance talent fighting it out! Headlining in the main room is the sensational Lady Dana the world’s number one female Hardstyle DJ! Her sizzling style of the freshest and fiercest hardstyle records has seen her establish herself as one of the leading DJs in any genre, and every gig she plays further cements her reputation as the best! Also playing is Goodgreef’s own Alex Kidd (www.djalexkidd.com), celebrating off the back of making it to the DJ Mag Top 150 at a very respectable 136 and a gig packed 2007. The crowd pleasing having it hard euphoria from Andy Whitby (www.andywhitby.com) also lines up, the guy who continues to endear himself to clubbers by constantly never failing to deliver anything other than the banging big tunes they want to lose themselves too! Next up is one of the real battles of the evening, the fantastically talented Kutski (www.myspace.com/kutski) and Illogik (www.djilogik.com) going head to head in a scratch off! Expect blistering trance, frenetic hardstyle, energetic hard house and even dashes of sprightly hardcore to be flying in and out of the mix when these guys square up! Mark E.G, Cally Gage and The Tidy DJs are some of the other names lined up in support to this insane battle of wits! Over in the second room Galaxy Radio’s NU Breed will be organising things, their peerless understanding of the future of trance showcasing some huge names in the genre! Topping the bill here is Cream Ibiza and Goodgreef’s own Adam Sheridan (www.adam-sheridan.com), whose 2007 has seen a stunning bevy of gigs at premier festivals like Dance Valley, Creamfields and the Berlin Love Parade, plus a heady release schedule which has taken his productions into the boxes of trance big guns like Tiesto, Armin and PvD! Next up is the awesome John O’Callaghan (www.johnocallaghan.net), a DJ who has literally blown his way out of nowhere into the trance elite in a devastatingly short space of time, getting signed to John Askew’s Discover label and regularly playing alongside the world’s greatest DJs. Gatecrasher’s Riley & Durrant (www.rileyanddurrant.com), also the brains behind the NU Breed concept, also step up to deliver their trademark euphoric trance style. Shan’s peerless box of pearling trance is also utilised, whilst support comes from a back to back set from James Alexander and Gaz Walgate, a thrilling appearance from Sheffield’s Trance sensation Off the Rails resident Art of Noise, Native’s Matt Everson and Kane Nelson from Digital Society. The final component in the evening’s entertainment comes from the amazing Funkissential, who will be keeping the dirty house, pumping electro and funky breaks fiends happy. Headlining this is an exclusive house set from Riley & Durrant, showcasing in one event their peerless understanding of house music as well as the trance which they have built their name on! Junior G and Goodgreef’s equally versatile Mark Maitland will also be stepping up, plus support from Gatecrasher Leeds’ Luke Pompey and many more!
