Goodgreef Vs Judgement Sundays @ Talltrees May 3rd You are set to headline Goodgreef meets Judgement Sundays on Bank Holiday Sunday 3rd of May at Club Tall Trees; do you enjoy being involved with the Goodgreef brand compared to other UK dance brands? Goodgreef seems to have such a great energy about it, and has been instrumental in bringing forward new talent in recent years, so I feel it’s the perfect partner for Judgement Sundays - which always endeavours to do the same. You have played some of the best venues in the world, why choose Tall Trees as one of the official Ibiza warm up parties for your dance brand Judgement Sundays? Tall Trees is a fantastic UK venue on the larger side of things, and the main room, when it is fully going off, has that Ibiza vibe which it would be impossible to capture in many other venues. Can you tell us who your favourites DJs & Producers are at the moment? This is a particularly difficult question at the moment. The standard of current productions is very high, which is great. I really like what Will Atkinson and Will Bailey have been doing recently. If you could sum your DJ career up in one word what would it be? Privileged. Summer is approaching and the Ibiza season is near, what are you plans and activities for the white island this year and in general around this period? I’ve been on a lot of long-haul tours over the winter, and as the summer approaches, they tail off and the Mediterranean short hops begin. Of course Judgement Sundays in Ibiza opens on June 7th, it’s our tenth anniversary, and we’ll be arranging a few surprises along the way, like our White Party in August. The Judge won’t Budge is what we in the UK know you for, but what are your feelings on young blood DJs like Jordan Suckley breaking into this industry? I feel very privileged to still have a full DJing diary after 20 years in the business, but I’m always very happy to see new talent progressing, and support it in any way I can, either through my shows, or booking them at Judgement Sundays events. After constant touring, long and late hour’s week in week out for many years, what is the secret to you looking so fresh and not a day older than what you looked 15 years ago when first breaking into the scene? Well that’s very flattering, thanks! I think, if anything, it’s actually down to enjoying what I do. Despite all the travelling and late nights, music always excites me and I still can’t think of a place I’d rather be than behind the decks.
