Goodgreef NW Preston @ 53 Degrees – Saturday 1st March

After what seems to many like an eternity, Goodgreef return to Preston for their first gig of 2008 and it’s not a moment too soon.

Whilst a certain something has been missing from this part of the North West for quite some time, it’s a huge relief that the GG guys return with a stonking two-roomed session with some of the hottest DJs around right now. It’s another pulsating party at one of GG’s fave venues, and you can guarantee the masses will be in attendance for a gig that is oozing explosive talent from every pore.

Headlining in The Venue is a man used to pushing the boundaries of dance music as far as he can. Sander van Doorn. His relentless attitude to what he does is the core essence to his astonishing success, both as a DJ and as a world-class producer, and from production after production, show after show, his reputation is one of a flawless performer, celebrating the recent launch of his new album, Super Naturalistic, with several of his new tracks sure to get an airing.

Germany’s legendary Scot Project is one of those rare artists whose musical style is clearly recognizable throughout the dance music world and he is always welcome at Goodgreef. His signature sound has helped create the harder side of the Trance genre, with unique combination of hard percussive elements mixed with melodic trance rhythms, he has become one of the most successful DJs/Producers in the global dance music

Endorsed by Paul van Dyk as one of the hottest producers in the world, John O’Callaghan has created a huge following from the trance division led by his outstanding tunes and skills behind the decks. He is one of the most exciting young talents around, feted by many of the world’s biggest DJs and in demand at many of the best clubs from all over the planet.

Matt Everson will showcase his pumping peak time trance blending blinding beats into the rolling treats of techno, but can adapt to fit around the whole feel of the night. Often warming up for headline DJs such as Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell & Adam Sheridan amongst others, Matt likes to build his set from tech-house and prog-house to more melodic stuff then dropping into some chunky electro sounds. He is the perfect man briefed to get the party rocking.

The Club features some of GG’s most trusted House and Electro heroes. Starting with Paul Flintoff, a man whose reputation continues to build gig upon gig around the north, supported by another hot talent who consistently wows the crowds, Michael Godsmark. Both will be ensuring the music is a scintillating mix of pounding house and filthy electro. Support comes from Paul Calvy b2b Dutton and James Ryan, a trio of young DJs all with great futures ahead of them, and GG is the place to check out their talents!

This is another Goodgreef simply not to be missed!
