Godskitchen Just heard the next event up here is gonna be at the Arena easter weekend, and the line-ups meant to be amazing. So much for the monthly Digital recidency, I wonder what went wrong?
Re: Godskitchen I think your sources could be wrong but if you were correct that would make it round 7th april aye?
Re: Re: Re: Godskitchen you dont pay up any way even tho i clearly told you detox wouldnt be back before march i am owed, 1 tenner, 1 squid and your attendence at the next 2 events - march and MAY
Obviously not too confident in your claim that my source is wrong then Its the same weekend as the one down in Bournemouth
I reckon so like, guess we'll have to wait and see. I think its to replace the Hi:Fi North and South events, which were doomed to fail from the off. Much better idea to have an arena event up here instead of a festival.
Vandit are co-hosting the next night which is in April. PVD, NuNRG, John Askew and JoC are gracing the decks (and synths). So im told from an inside source anyway.
Personally i doubt this is true, firstly why would they suddenly decide to put on an event at the arena in Newcastle in April. On the same date as the one down in Bourmouth (which has been advertised for ages) Plus why would vandit co-host the event? Surely PVD has a better way to advertise his label than paying to co-host an event in Newcastle opposed to Berlin where it is based. But still i really hope this is true, lineup would be amazing. Although this lineup would be much better at Digital, basically because of the charv arseholes who spoil it at the arena. ..keep the news comin
imho it would be clearly ludicrous to have the same lineups on the same weekend north and south hifi was the same weekend as the shindig birthday party weekend end of may and loook how that crashed and burned and why would it be run to replace that when easter is early april you my friend are clearly on about early may imho it would be far more likely that gods appeared in march and may but hey what do i know :angel2: the arena events are charv fests anyway
obviously thats why you are running evolve, gods and crasher it must be hard multitasking all those responsibilities with your board posting for the record I would love it if gods was at the arena with van dyk in early april but I would stilll be surprised if it happened
I dont think even PVD or a Vandit night would tempt me to the Arena. I think i was too taken back by the decor last time and Jarrow Social clubs three tuppeny nudgers taxed for the night as the "Viva Las Vegas" theme.
those 3 dancers dressed up in corsets were the only las vegas theme. the trading standards should have been out in force for how much the flyer hype (did not) equal the reality fergie wasted was a low point / high point depending on your point of view at that time of night I still think PVD at the arena would get people out in their droves tho but totally confused why gods just dont pursue the digital route given the apparent success of the opening night back in dec. Oakey was fairly ok and OBIR nailed it
It was nothing but a success was it? It was stowed off everywhere the and even tho i missed R&D i thought O'Bir was class, in there as well on that sound system as well Wouldnt it have something to do with Evolve u reckon cos by all accounts surely God's would be able to better there line ups which by no means is slating Evolved cos if i am not away am going myself. Hardwick in Digital, nuff said and Corsten was quality every time i seen him last year.
