Friday the 8th of December Godskitchen are ecstatic to launch their first ever residency in the North East throwing monthly parties in one of Newcastle’s finest venues, Club Digital! Godskitchen have always had an affinity with the clubbers in the northeast and over the last few years have thrown some unbelievable sell out shows in Newcastle’s Metro Radio arena. Off the back of these phenomenal shows Gods felt it was time to give those up north a chance to experience a more intimate Godskitchen and see the worlds finest DJ talent on a regular basis!! The show has the full backing of Galaxy and will be broadcast live from the event!!

Headlining the launch of this exciting new venture is the legendary Paul Oakenfold for his only appearance in Newcastle In over two years! Oakie as he is affectionately known is one of the most influential artists ever to have graced the scene and still remains one of the worlds leading dj’s, selling out clubs and festivals all over the world!! Also appearing in the main arena are Galaxy radio duo Riley & Durant, Nat Monday and a DJ everyone at Godskitchen has high hopes and expectations for in the shape of Job O’Bir. Still only 21 years of age Jon has been a huge hit with the Godskitchen faithful developing an army of followers at every new club he plays so we are all pleased to unleash him to the northeast on December 8th!

The second room will provide a stark contrast to the main arena playing the funkier sounds that has dance floors across the UK rocking!! Headlining this arena is one of the pioneers of the scene Tom Neville alongside the hugely successful GK ELECTRIC residents Micky Slim and James Algate.

A Godskitchen club show is not solely about the DJ talent on offer. Their production, live acts and atmosphere of their events are second to none so this new venture is sure to be an instant hit!! Godskitchen are renowned for their amazing club shows throughout the world and are now proud to bring their winning formula to one of finest clubbing towns in the UK!!

This has been rumoured for a while though fucking gutted Jokenfold is playing the opening night.

O'bir, Nat Monday & R & D will have me there for this one like, can see it being busy too with that long haired prick playing.

This will have a wicked atmosphere, and I don't think Oakey's train-wrecking is going to spoil it

WHY do people keep making sly digs about Junior G and other nights? You would think half of you had actually slaved away and put all the hard work into actually making Goodgreef.

So what if a big name Trance dj can pull crowds in - its hardly rocket science is it.

Nothing bad on goodgreef what so ever just all these little digs about not going to the night reaaaaaaaaly piss me off.

I hope Oakie doesnt spoil it, though he was shocking at Global and even worse in ibiza at the Radio 1 party. We all know he can do it from his Cream days...... though he just chooses not to at the moment.

Nat Mondays stuff on the Flammable label a few years ago was always decent, have never seen him though once had a mix cd that was good proggy trance so he will be wicked to warm up. O'Bir will totally rinse the club - heres hoping hes playing last. His mixing will sound wicked through the function 1

Looking forward to the next few line ups... Wasnt there a rumour circulating that PvD was playing for Gods in newcastle before the end of the year?? ;)

Can see Armin being a strong possibility too, he was wicked in ibiza so would defo fancy that if it happened :cool2:

I'm not having a dig at any night at all.:spangled: It's the people that go, they moan about no TRANCE nights on in Newcastle yet they dont go unless a BIG DJ is on.

THATS SO TRUE , ALL THESE trance muppets go on about coooler than cool djs playing up here and when the likes junior g put them on they dont sell the place out cos these people dont go and support the night

yet the same people who diss the big hitters and mainstream trance djs out are the ones that will turn out in their droves to go to GODSKITCHEN because its a brand and a big name is on

thats why the local trance scene in newcastle struggles

whereas other nights with loyal followings such as freaky dancing , curves and psybernetic do well regardless of who is on
