    Go Karting

    Anyone even been before!

was at Kart North east in sunderland today on the outdoor track! loads of us went, all the managers/owners from other bars etc. Since ive never even drove a car before, made me feel a little nervous, soon as i got into it i really enjoyed myself, really recommend to go if you aint!

that sounds about right, i think it was £15 for 15 minutes in boro but it might get cheaper the longer ya go on... its well worth it tho!

your forearms ACHE for ages afterwards fighting with those little steering wheels!

we used to regulary go to one on the Dragonville industrial estate, an indoor one, was only £10 per session - we went about 1 per month, had a mini league going and everything

Once when I was at the one in Durham (which is class!) with my dad, we got the 60 lap things....but split it into two.

The kart i had had seriously heavy steering...and I literallly couldnt straighten my arms fully for a good few days and it took nearly 2 weeks for the pain to go away

That outdoor one in sunderland, the most daunting thing is that first corner on a rolling start! It's mayhem!

The pain the day after is always agony, it feels like you've just done a heavy weight boxers training
