Go Ape! Just found out im going to this last night, anyone been before? Been on some of the Youtube Vids they have & it looks immense - 12 years old all over again!
haha you'll end up stuck between 2 fat middle aged women who suddenly realise they are afraid of heights and are screaming and crying their eyes out and holding onto you for support only for you to realise you're a ponce and shit yourself after looking down!!
Looks wkd tho: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2exVYCjM2O8"]YouTube - Biggest zip line in UK Go Ape! Aberfoyle[/ame] [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMKTqhcWV7A&feature=related"]YouTube - Go Ape[/ame]
my mrs has done this a few times and reckons its great. i'd quite fancy it, but on the other hand i'd probably get there and bottle it completely.
i went to the one in sherwood notts on sunday with my lass. was absolutely class. its just a massive adventure playground for adults. massive zip wires and tarzan swing things galore. had a mint day of weather which helped, youl have a mint time. i felt like a right ki running around again like but would def reccomend it!
That vid clip from aberfoyle is the one i went to, the zip wire is how you start and end the course, you should have seen some of the people coming to terms with havin to go don that to start the course. Totally amazin tho, and for the price as well it was only about £20.
Spent the full day at Sherwood Forest the other week - Amazing. The old tree thats supported with Scaffold if FUKIN HUGE!! ...Oh must add - I shot 3 arrows for £3 & was served by a fully costumed Robin Hod that took his job far too seriously. Wicked day out!
Imagine if that was your job. Trying to chat some bird up in a pub/club and she asks "what do you do for a living then? Doctor? Lawyer?" "nah i'm Robin Hood"
