Given Goalkeeper Shay Given admits he may be tempted by a move to Spain should he fail to agree a new contract with Newcastle. The Republic of Ireland international has 18 months left on his existing Magpies deal but, despite opening talks over a new contract prior to the New Year, Given is keeping his options open. And a move to La Liga could tempt the former Blackburn man with Given keen on a slice of the Spanish lifestyle. "I love it at Newcastle but if I was to leave, Spain would be my choice," said the 29-year-old. "Everything about it appeals - the people, the weather, the football. "I would like to stay. I would like a new contract and to win a trophy but it has to be right financially."
