Giant, blank start button anyone? This is what happened to my start button after installing an official driver for my shitty Geforce2 GTS. All was fine before the reboot. Uninstalling the driver doesn't solve the problem. Virus and spyware checks don't help. I've uninstalled Tuneup Utilities 2006/2007 as that's what i was using for my windows theme styler but the theme still appears to be in effect somehow. Everything on the other login is fine so it's something that's only in effect with this one. Any ideas? Everything is ok in safe mode..
it looks like the theme you're using for your windows. Right click on your desktop, select properties, and try changing to one of the default themes and back again.
It's not a bar.. the whole thing is actually the start button. Task manager says explorer.exe is using up to 160mb of memory and 90 - 100% cpu. Conway - I've already tried that. I even uninstalled the program responsible for the theme with no luck.
