Getting Your Mixer Serviced?? Does anyone know of someone or a business that can service Pioneer mixers?? - preferably quickly and cheaply! My DJM500 needs one quite badly, bass cuts out on channels 1 & 2 when you touch the the knob even without turning it and if you hold your finger on it, the bass just booms out to top whack? :spangled: Im pretty sure all it needs is some TLC but dont wanna start poking around inside myself. Any ideas?? Muchos gracias...
Sound Controls now shut down which is where I would have went mate. Aitken Electronics is your only other bet in town but there turn around for repairs are absolutely hopeless. Theres an electronics shop the bottom of Dean Street (opposite Pizza Express) they sell DJ equipment, Synth's, Guitars etc... cant remember the name for the life of me now, could try them although not sure if they do a repair service?
Ah yeah i know the one you mean, cheers for that! Hope they do cos I'm sure Pioneer will rip me eyes out if I have to go through them Id never go to Aitkens for a repair like! Always said if they dont have it in stock already, don't bother!
Re: Getting Your Mixer Serviced?? Sounds like you need to spray the pots on it. You can get the tin of 'pot spray' on ebay mate, and its easy to administer
