Getting websites to show up in google searches..... ... reet i know this is a total n0ob question from some one thats meant to be 1337 in I.T. lol BUT :- How do i go about getting my companys website address so that it comes up within the first ten or so results in a google search , i mean both just putting the name of the company in and maybe the website address cos at the mo neither of them are showing up in the top 100 search results ....?
yeah, there's a way of fudging google to do it - i remember the b3ta peeps doing it with that damon albarn 'i'm a cunt' song not sure though.... lol some help eh?
theres a variety of ways Meta Data (you put in a description / key words in the header of your web page)....look this up on google also (and this is the hard bit) the more links to your site there is on the internet, the higher up on the search engine link it should be do a google search for something like 'promoting your company on the web' theres loads of good books on web promotion aswell, if you do a lot of your trading via the web then it is essential that you are on top of this subject imo
cheers, ive got the full website address into 6th position but the actual business name on its own is in the 20's some where !! Ill not be happy till ive got both umber 1 tho lol
