Getting to the JJB gym at the Royal Quayes from Newcastle?

I have a job interview on Monday but I've only ever been in that area for Wet n Wild. What's the easiest way of getting there? Also, which bus service is used in that direction? I can get a day pass on either the Arriva or Go Northeast busses which would save me having to pay for a bunch of returns.

    Thanks :)

Are there any busses direct from town or is it all a faff on? I went to Sunderland last week and getting there and back cost me nearly £8. I'd prefer to get a day pass on the bus if possible :dunce:

I've had a look at the timetables etc but a lot of them are confusing when u don't know the actual route they take.. all the place names are places that I've never been before. I might just play it safe and go with the metro. It's a right carry on working out which bus stop to get off at in new places

the 308 also goes through whitley before it goes to blyth - it stops at wet n wild

i used to get the metro from percy main in to town, its no more than a 10 minute walk to royal quays, just use the cut, turn right at the road, go round the back of the football field, under the fly over and you're there

i remember the first time i bought a ticket at percy main metro and everyone was looking at me like i had two fuckin heads - everyone just walked on without paying
