if you have an active bt line, its just not getting used, sky should be able to take it over straight away. if you dont have a number and the lines disconnected you'd have to go to bt and it costs £120

currently yes it's £120 to get reconnected - HOWEVER last month they were going a deal 'come back to BT for £30 reconnection fee' - ring them and say can't you do that deal - and they will.

i want sky "pay once watch forever" installed so i get a brand new sat dish/cable and possibly new or refurbed box for £75 (this is cheaper than getting a Freesat install that is just a sat and cable really), the hitch is the sky engineer requires a phone line to set up the card and box you are supposed to keep box connected to telephone line but its not required unless you buying services ie ppview boxing, so i want a telephoneline for a day JUST for sky setup! looks like iv dropped a Ballack tho if its going to cost a further £150 in BT line rental for a phone I wont use

(this has nothing to do with my bulkbuying sat thread lol)

Pike, BT activate it for £99 and sky charge about £10.50 per month Line Rental

I can do it for £25 to reactivate, and £8.99 per month Line Rental

Or i can do a package:

    -Up to 24mb Broadband
    -Line Rental
-Free local/national/international calls + half price to mobiles
£19.99 per month (no contract), £25 if you want to move house later on

I've got a part time business as an Independent Distributor for Telecom Plus PLC - it's known as The Utility Warehouse Discount Club.

It's so cheap because we don't advertise and just simply do a good job for our customers so they won't hesitate in recommending us.

We do really really cheap Gas and Electric too and it comes on a monthly bill instead of quarterly, with english speaking people on the end of the phone.

If customers refer us on to other people, they also get up to 4% off their total bill (including BB, Line, Mobiles and calls) each month per customer they recommend.

we don't work like that at all, I'm my own boss running this like a business, and we don't appoint anybody doing anything as horrendous as telesales. you're thinking of the carphone warehouse or some company which employs people. our head office is in London, not Nunn Street!

funny how you can't remember your own employer

Normally there's a charge for Broadband moving and Telephone number retention of up to £100 (typically £50) to whoever your supplier is - we transfer that and your gas and electric account for £25 through the home mover team.

Another benefit is that there is no contract for the services but if you wanted to cancel the BB service within year 1 we charge £50, rather than the entire remainder of the contract like other companies do which is often in the hundreds of pounds as they are 12-18 month contracts you have to abide to.

We cover Gas, Electric (which is constantly monitored to make sure you're on an extremely cheap deal, prices go down when the market does, and when prices go up we wait til the dust settles then reposition in accordance with what is then deemed "cheap").

The only way you can get uber cheap Broadband + LR package is if you take our gas and electric service too. Otherwise its another fiver.. which is pointless cos if you're with British Gas, EON, EDF, NPOWER, Scottish & Southern etc - we whip them every time guaranteed.

We are regulated by Ofcom and Ofgen, and have got the licence for Ofwat when water gets de-regulated we will add that cost effecient service plus TV will no doubt be released.

If you do your £15+ pm package with Sky but use us for Broadband it still works out to be saving you money, because we give you up to 24mb and for less than Sky charge.
