I live in a pretty nice estate and behind my house is a little cul-de-sac..

I've just finished watching swordfish on dvd and I heard someone shouting outside the window.
Now as its hot i've had the windows open pretty much all day.. and didn't realise that my tv was up pretty loud, my ears had just adjusted to the noise level.

He asked me to turn it down or shut my windows, I've done both and apologised stating I didn't think it would be possible for him to hear it in his house (as he lives a good 50ft away and by the looks of it must have double glazing). I also expressed that I didn't mean to upset him.

I'm pretty right now.. should I appologise in person 2moro?

Have you ever been in the same position?
If so what did you do or what would you do?

I feel awful.. I just didn't realise! Even my mother didn't complain and she is in the next room!

I had a party last neet! Myself and mick decided to have a mix @ 3am. I'm awaiting the compliants.

I've never spoke to the guy b4.. first thing he says to me is a complaint on my behaviour.

Personally I prefer to not upset the neighbours and having done so feel awful due to the fact that they had to tell me I was annoying them.

I'm not a fag.. i just like to consider other ppl..

Also I'm aware its my house (or my parents) but being able to disturb ppl who live over 50ft away, through their windows and walls is pretty bad.. I musta had it too loud.

You should try living on my street

The council family down the street sit out on the pavement all day long with their kids sitting in a paddling pool with trance BLASTING

Everyday at 6pm the local kids have a 20a side football match on the road

Around 11pm a police helicopter makes a regular appearence

and in our house we all have monster stereos and 2 (to become 3) sets of decks

in heaton we have to listen to african fucking bongos for days on end i dont know what they are doing at heaton primary school but i wouldnt send my kids there!
