I never get it either, im running version 4.6 mind, i hate the new one! Ive just customised it for myself! What is this pop up spam anyway?
ive been getting a few of these :evil: fukkin advertisers, fukkin hate them with a fury :evil: for anyone who has seen minority report, i do think the world will end up like that, and im not looking forward to it.
Think im in the shit........ got a spam advert and logged the ip on my firewall, so started a simple Dos attack and think ive crashed their server well serves the buggers right
These pop-ups use the NT/XP Messenger service which is nothing to do with MSN Messenger. Disable the service in Control Panel->[Administrative Tools]->Services, and set it to not automatically start. On home pcs, you don''t need this service running

Click Start->Control Panel 2. Click Performance and Maintenance 3. Click Administrative Tools 4. Double click Services 5. Scroll down and highlight "Messenger" 6. Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties. 7. Click the STOP button. 8. Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar 9. Click OK And thats it, simple as that.
