you cant record on to them they are basically just so you can record audio to mp3 from the back of a mixer / audio source you plug an mp3 player / usb stick in to the ikey and that's what stores the audio - not the ikey the ikey plus is the better one to get if you are going to go that route, you can adjust the line level volume with that one I've not used it as the iriver i bought is the size of a 9v battery and has line in - so its much smaller, and much more convenient hope that helps, any more Q's just let me know
cheers! all i want is something to plug into mixer that will ,record mixes then i can transfer them to my pc as its too far to put leads from mixer straight to pc! what u reckon willl be the best option like?
is the pc in the same house? if it is, you can buy 15 meter cables pre made, or theres places that will make a cable for you for a very small price its very easy to make your own, but if you're not that way inclined, then the cheap way is to get them made for you
aye i would say its roughly 20 metres away after all the twists & turns. wat package do u recommend then if its gonna be a pc job?
I'm assuming you mean the software to record with here - I use sound forge 8 - 9 is out, but 8 does what i need if you don't want to buy/steal sound forge, Audacity is free and I've heard nothing but good about it
