Gateshead high street OH MY GOOD GOD! i feel like a supermodel! easily the biggest collection of pie faces ive ever seen i swear its what the jeremy kyle green room looks like!
You haven't seen anything until you've saw Stockton Town Centre on a market day! My word its fucking disgusting.
It's horrible it really is. I try to stay in the office on a lunchtime unless i really need to go out. If its a Wednesday or Friday though i'd rather starve than pop into town and face up to the people waddling round town with their Cooplands (they cant afford gregs and they get more sausage rolls for a quid). Even on a normal day its just nasty. Whenever i leave the job centre to either go on my lunch or if i have to nip out during the day there's always at least 5-6 radgies sat on a wall with their white start gobbing up the most rediculous about of human spit all over the pavement. You can walk past some of the pubs at about 12 and theres people smoking outside then you'll see them signing on and when you go past at about 5pm they are still there each and every day.... Apart from work i avoid Stockton centre at all costs, i've not had a drink in town since i was 19.
It is dreadful like, im doing a part time course at Gateshead college so every tuesday im in the area. Its like a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean at times down there, absolutely shocking some of the people you see kicking around.
shields daytime is canny horrendous like, but isnt as bad as what i can imagine gateshead or stockton to be like. i have to wear a suit/business dress for work and sometimes go down shields, i feel like doing a patrick bateman sometimes.
It's not good...I used to work on the high street... watching through the windows of the inbreds heading into the indoor market
I were far cleaner in shields like. Theres some right faces, but most of them look sane, and you do get a few normal people walking about like. Where as Gateshead, people who are normal tend to run through. I used to work at the sage, and occasionally went to tesco on my break. It made me happy to be me like!! lol
