Gatecrasher: Nu Crasher 2006 Press Release

Gatecrasher launches a series of Nu-Crasher Events for 2006

After a number of massively successful 2005 nu-crasher events in both Sheffield & Leeds, Gatecrasher announce 6 dates for the first quarter of 2006 at Gatecrasher One, Sheffield and their newest venue Discotheque, Leeds. With stunning line ups Nu Crasher look again to provide the best midweeker imaginable!

Nu Crasher aims to supply the top UK and International talent alongside the best up n coming DJ’s that the scene has to offer, giving quality events in fantastic venues at a fraction of the price of what it would cost on a Saturday.

Discotheque, Leeds – Sunday 28th January

    MAIN ROOM

    THRILLSEEKERS
    ADAM SHERIDAN
    SIMON PATTERSON
    RILEY & DURRANT

Nu Crasher launches for the first time on a Sunday night with a stellar line up of top notch UK talent. After The Thrillseekers ripped the roof off Gatecrasher One at Novembers Nu Crasher and played a brilliant producers set at Crasher Classics on Boxing Day, Steve Helstrip has been invited back to launch the Discotheque Monthlys. Steve has been at the forefront of the UK trance scene since its birth and is regarded by many as the best UK producer there has been. He has successfully moved across to DJing and wowed crowds the world over.

Local leeds lad Adam Sheridan, who has been tipped by the music press as the suiter to Paul Van Dyks crown finished last year on a real high by making it into the top 10 DJ’s of 2005 in Mixmags poll. His productions have seen him sign to Ferry Corstens label and he continues to whip crowds up into a frenzy with his highly technical style.

Simon Patterson aka Dogzilla has been bubbling under for years now, with his impressive A&R work for top labels AM:pM and Incentive and also working as Judge Jules right hand man. His productions established him as one of the top new talents in 2005 with hits such as Without You and his DJ performances have seen him play at just about every major club in the UK.

Crasher ressies Riley & Durrant, who will be hosting the monthly events at Discotheque, complete the line up. Having remixed artists such as Armin Van Burren and Way Out West, as well as signing to Tiesto’s label in 2005 they firmly established themselves on the production front, whilst DJ performances across the globe and their 3 massively popular radio shows further enhanced their DJ status.

    ELECTRIC BOX HOSTED BY MATTHARDWICK.COM

What better way to relaunch than with Matt Hardwick headlining this event at his spiritual home, Gatecrasher One, and also launching his bi monthly residency. Matt has gone on from Crasher ressie to firmly establishing himself as one of the top DJ’s in the world with a huge following. So much so that his website’s forum (www.matthardwick.com) will be hosting the electric box, providing the best up n coming talent- see his site for more details.

Joining Matt are two debutants to Gatecrasher. Firstly, Andy Moor, a guy who had a fantastic year in 2005 with mind blowing productions and DJ sets across the globe and finished the year at number 46 in the DJ Mag top 100 poll. Paul Van Dyk recently commended Andy as his favourite artist; Tiesto is touting him as the next big thing and Paul Oakenfold recently stated “I’m loving everything Andy has done and is doing, he plays a major part in all of my sets”. This is someone you do not want to miss!

The second debutant and another fantastic young talent, Menno de Jong has also had a cracking 2005 and looks set to be the next big thing out of Holland. His productions have found their way into the sets of every major DJ and his own label Intuition was one of the success stories of last year with 3 superb releases. His DJing has taken him around the world in the past year and his diary is packed with dates for 2006.

Completing the lineup are top notch residents Stevie G and Will Holland.

To complement the night are 99p DRINKS ALL NIGHT and just 5 QUID to get in! Miss it, miss out!
