fx on mixers...

    fx on mixers...

    what type of thing do they do?

    an are they easy to use (and sound good)?

    or are they jus pointless add ons to push the price up?

    any1?

    they are ok.
    but if they are over used they sound wank!
    different mixers do different things. hi pass filters. lo pass filters, flanger etc etc....
    id say dont bother.....

    already ordered a mixer wi them on...

    but that was cos of the other things on the mixer an i had a little play on it an liked it... the shop were supposed to be ringing me about delivery today but they haven't, jus keep sayin it'd be sorted soon...

    I have a Korg Kaoss mixer with loads of effects/sampler etc on it.
    I very rarely use it tbh mate.
    It sounds ok sometimes but liek Revel says, sont over-use it, it'll just sound shit.
    Listen to fergies cd from last months Mixmag and you'll see exactly what we mean;)

    thats if i ever get it!!!

    can't believe i'm having to chase peeps up when i'm trying to give them over a grand!

    they seemed all interested when i was ordering it, but now its down to sorting out the delivery they jus arean't 1 bit helpful!:evil: :evil: :evil:

    i only bought them from this place cos the bird on the phone sounded fit as well...

    Is it the new Tascam your getting???....if it is it is CLASS!!!!!
    Although i dont know if i would pay £1000 for a mixer.

    got the numark digital one in the end...

    the only one that i'd been able to have more than a 5minute play on that i liked an could afford!

    (and of course it loooks pretty ;) )

    it does all i need anyways:)

    yeah i don't like the start of it, i always forget that womans on it an have it up loud... i'm sure every1 thinks i have a fetish for grannies now...:oops:

    most've had an impact on me tho cos i bought loads of the trax on there when i wasn't the most sober over the wkend:oops:

    an now i've got no money for the rest of the month:cry: :cry:
