Future (middlesbrough) Firstly we’d just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting “Future” this past year, as you all know we have been running on a bi-monthly basis on the 2nd Saturday of the month. But now is the time for change and to evolve so starting from January 26th next year, we will be going monthly and staying on the last Saturday of the month, we shall also be knocking things up a number of gears with the bookings so expect some MASSIVE names to be coming from the off. We are also very proud to announce our new resident – Ste Guthrie to join alongside Denney, we also have the new closing time of 4am rather than 3 so this allows the residents to not only warm up but finish off as well. We have been running previously in conjunction with Naked, but now the decision has been made that we will be working purely between ourselves and the Cornerhouse. We are really grateful for all of the help that Karl and his team have given us and wish them all the best for the future. The other main change is that we shall be moving from Rouge to actually inside the main Cornerhouse, the main room shall be getting a full new soundsystem, lighting and the setup of the room will be changing with the DJ box moving so it’s looking longways down the room. Also we are very aware of the issues with the doorstaff and these are too getting sorted These changes will be taking effect from our xmas party which is on the 22nd December with the line up: Buckley (Basics/We Love) Ste Guthrie Denney We decided to get buckers back on as he went down a storm on our opening party and was perfect to give everyone a xmas knees up.
