People no longer support small local club nights with local DJs.

Please come back when you have got the arena and 19 superstar DJS.

I stumbled in not knowing it was on and was pleasantly suprised. Couldnt believe it when i walked in and heard Marco V and the likes blasting at me through the speakers instead of the usual cheese thats played in there. Place was empty tho, must have only been about 50 people in.

This is hardlys gonna be a fucking rival for Promise is it being on a wednesday night :spangled: or are people still fucked off the Arena ??

This night run by one of my mates giving two mates the chance to play out @ a venu with decent people - they have put a hell of alot of work into it and they deserve it to be good !

It pisses me off the way people kick off just coz it aint Promise - if the night was on a friday id understand but its not !

Anyways anyone who is interested in going should get themselves along - its good music and good people !

    Cheers

and the super clubs are doing so well.................
Not everyone has the chance to go to GG every weekend and it's good that there is an alternative when money is tighter It's about time people supported smaller venues and got off there high horse at the end of the day everyone has got to start somewhere and your superstar DJ's didn't get to that status without playing in a few dives along the way If there is choice on the market great all the better more talent coming up the ranks lets stop been so arsey Blue is not my bag but if there is nothing else going on then why not it hurts no one and you might actually have a good night there's smaller nights running all across the north east and if people dropped there guard they might find they have fun Promise is great and who knows one day some of the people that are playing to 10 people in a backroom of a oldmans pub in byker may be the superstars of the future and rocking the main room at foundation.
    Rant over.

The big events are great but what about when it's tuesday night and there's nothing else to do ???
You going to stay at home and watch another repeat of I loved the big events 1996 as your too much of a music snob to go out and see if there is anything else going on some of the best nights out are when you wander in to a place not knowing what to expect

    CAZ,

Are you on about my comments?

I was taking the piss, people in Newcastle just don't go to small nights & the reason I know this is because I go to small nights!

People are not keen on paying to see the likes of Barry Bedroom, local nights with local DJs need to be FREE to start with & build up to CHARGING.

Yes but people like our friend won't even venture in to these nights just incase there seen to be given support to something else away from the beating track People like this need to lighting up because at the end of the day does it matter where you are and who's on the decks if you have a good night at the end of it?

i dont think anyone is disputing the fact you can have a good night regardless of whos playing

and people do go to smaller nights, despite what you may think

I know people go to smaller nights I'm usually at them to give my support and see if there any good but some people do have an attitude about the smaller events and all I'm saying is without the backroom barry there would be no big names or big nights

its the crowd that makes those events though, how stylish are those true clubbers with their shirts off and their tracksuit bottoms?

far too cool to even think about

I was there and it was great ................ but try something a little different one night before you go to something big you never know you might have the best night in a long time
