    Furniture ordering times

Why is it that you can build a brand new car containing the pinnacle of human engineering talents and skill, in a matter of hours ......

... Yet a mattress takes nearly 8 weeks from the point of ordering to the point where you actually recevie it!!! Its a few springs and some fabric!!!

Similarly, i ordered some furniture yesterday and then found out that it was now going to be made and i can expect it in 6 weeks time.

Those stories my mum told me about when they got married and all they had to sit on was a square of carpet and a bean bag for three months ..... suddenly dont sound quite so made up!

Its very true my friend!! We slept on a sofa bed for agggessss when we moved into our new house, having the same problem! It just doesnt make sense.
Similary, our couch took 12 weeks to be made and delivered, but at least we had sofas to sit on..... we learnt from our mistakes! lol.

hehe i know your pain, literally.

We had to spend the last month sleeping on an inflatable bed, before i cracked and decided to buy a double bed for the spare room while we waited for the one in the main room to be delivered.

Now im finding it hard to sleep since im not used to a real bed now

Getting old now eh. christ! :D
