Fucking Spyware Icons

Just noticed my desktop riddled with shit icons like 'Travel', 'Bingo', 'Poker', etc. However, when I right click over them, it doesn't bring up a menu, therefore I can't delete them. This menu appears with all my other icons, Internet Explorer, etc., just not these pieces of shit. Is there any other way I can delete them? Tried desktop cleanup and that didn't work either.

go to control panel then add and remove programs they shud be in there to uninstall

Firstly, stop using IE, or it'll happen again.

Use webroot or GIANT to get rid of them, and to inoculate against them - adaware and spybot are crap in this regard.

Try CWShredder.

Use Housecall in case they are trojan-like.

Use HijackThis to remove any last remnants (you'll have to know what you're doing).

And lastly, stop using IE, or it will happen again.

IE scum...basically these guys who,ve already replied no the score with spyware
