it depends what u mean by friendly, having a group of rajis running over, gurning and shaking my hand saying im their best mate isnt my idea of friendly, shindigs got a better atmosphere imo :)

when promise is good its hard to beat imo, the atmosphere on the matt 5hr night reminded me of how good it used to be when i first started going compared to now.

i still think passion's the best club in the country, the venue, line ups & atmosphere are all unbelieveable, well worth the effort getting down there

nah i reckon thats crap, theres the odd poser maybe, but at the end of the day id rather have the odd poser, than almost (being the keyword before anyone on here kicks off) a room full of turd, which unfortunately promise seems to be letting in now.

That was an awesomely friendly atmosphere...seemed everyone was there to hear the dj and not just cos thy could be...it wasnt really busy that night but i prefer half a club full of people who are loving it than a full clubs where people decide to be arses cos theyre board

only been once i imagine it attracts a different crowd depending on the style of music that gets played

thats what it used to be like every week when promise was weekly, through going there every week is how i met nearly all my good mates. i never realised how different it is now until that night made me think back to what it was like then, tho as people keep saying the club is a business now, and a full club is better for business than a half full club, no matter who is inside. plus the dj's being booked are more mainstream, and appeal to more than the people who really follow the music & scene.

I still dont think the crowds that bad personally, you get a few charv's but on the whole everyones alright

i personally try to concentrate on the music wherever i go but also have a banter with my mates, but at promise now it just irritates me having a person infront of me turn round every 10 seconds going, having a good night mate, having a good night
