Derrick Carter has made his mark on so many clubs and labels, it's hard to know where to begin with many pivotal releases such as The Fred Everything remix of "Life Is Like A Circle," released on Bombay Records, and others can be found on labels such as Organico (as Sound Patrol), The End (as Tone Theory), and the London-based label he runs with Luke Soloman, Classic. As a remixer, he has worked for a diverse range of artists including Human League, Boris Dlugosch, Modjo, DJ Sneak and Röyksopp. With his DJ sets firmly rooted in house, old school disco, soul and jazz, and his pioneering, innovative tracks and consequent critical acclaim have repeatedly marked Derrick out as once of the most important players in Dance music today. Without doubt one of the most seminal pioneers of dance music, the monumental DJ, producer and label boss Josh Wink is the second addition to this special show. From his impressive beginnings in the American rave scene in the early 1990’s to his internationally applauded “Higher State of Consciousness” in 1995. With unflinching prowess behind the decks, expect winks advancing style of techno, acid, house, drum & bass and experimental music.
