Free train to Newcastle for me

    Free train to Newcastle for me

    anyone remember me taking 11 hrs to get from Newcastle to London on train after 5 hr Matt Hardwick set.. Well phoned up train company, they re offering me full refund, which basically mean I ve no excuse not to go to Lab 4, cos the journey will be free:D and i ended up takin that monday off work cos i got home at 6:30am, and got paid for that day too:D I love freebies:D

    the milkybars are on you?
    why do u get the train? 9/10 its cheaper and much quicker to fly between heathrow and newcastle :dunce:

    10/10 times I have to work on Friday, so if I want to travel its peak time, also its the weekend, so the flights are more expensive, a lot more expensive, unless i want to get up at stupid oclock to leave etc. :dunce:

    we flew at about 8 at night on the firday, came home at about 7on the sunday, the flights were £89 each....
    we checked train times and details and they were well over a ton.

    how much is the train, out of interest?

    its more expensive to fly london to here than here to london...

    train normally if I leave at 5pm on fri is £60 if I want to take which ever train on Sunday. But this time im gonna get fri off, and try get a cheaper ticket, so probs about £35, and I ve not got to pay to get to kings cross, as I would to get to stanstead.

    hmmmm makes me think i should have foned up and complained about the train back to glasgow after yoji then :(

    Fair enough i only waited 2 1/2 hrs but we had plans for the next night to go see tiesto and we all stood freezing our arses off waiting on the train.

    You think its too late to complain now and chance my luck?? :p

    if u ve still got tickets or a reference number, then go for it u got nothing to loose:D, I only pulled my finger out 2 months after…:D

    knowing my luck i've not got the damn tickets or refrence number i'll have a look and say anyway ;)
