    Free spyware type thingy

I did a searcj using one of these program's last night and it said I had 20 items on my PC which basically shouldnt be there, then it asked me for $20 to buy the program to remove them, is there any way I can do this for free?

adaware used to be the best but in my experience it dont find fuck all anymore.

id recommend sypsweeper and pest patrol

tho u have to pay for those or find another means ....

    Tch! kids...

Get some coffee, install a bittorrent client, go to www.suprnova.org, and download a 'trial' version of webroot. Is the daddy of spyware removal tools. "What facking tool?". "This one!". :)

that's meant to be the most thorough but takes AGES.

AdAware or SpyBot I would say, AdAware being the easiest to use imo. :D

It takes around 5 mins to scan 100 gig, seems faster than adaware...
