Sorry to disappoint everybody but its not what you think.

Just got out of hospital yesterday and got a canny bye-bye goody bag from the nhs. Seeing as i've been left with chronic pain after me latest kidney op in april, and while i'm waiting to see the pain team at the rvi this is what i have to take EVERYDAY!!

Morphine Sulphate 60 mg - 1 tablet twice a day :crazy:
Oramorph Morphine solution - 10ml every hour
Tramadol (codeine) 50mg - 3 capsules every 4 hours
Pregabalin 50mg - 1 capsule twice a day
Lactulose solution - 10ml twice a day (to counter the constapation from all the morphine)

I'm currently sat here, trippin me tits off and unable to shit!
So if anyone fancies ONE HELL OF A NIGHT IN gimme a shout

cheers mate, but i'm not sure if i want to!!! then again, seeing as its 24/7 i reckon the high's gonna get old quick.

whey they reckon that the morphine sulphate is so addictive that they're normally only given to terminally ill patients as it doesnt matter that they get addicted. apparently when i come off them it has to be gradual coz i WILL be addicted to them!

Morphine's class!!!! Had knee surgery recently and had it on tap for about 12 hours. Little button to get a shot, only released some every 5 minutes mind...not that it stopped me hitting the fucker every 30 seconds it seemed!!!! :groovy:

i get that on repeat prescription now man!!

those machines are so fuckin frustrating arent they? i normally have one on for 2-3 days after me ops. i keep fallin asleep after gettin a shot then wakin up and pressin the button again, only to look at the timer and realise i've been asleep for 20 seconds. i then usually start to cry realising i've got 4 minutes and 40 seconds til me next hit.

I was going through exactly the same!! Dropping off (well it seemed more like being completely off your tits) then coming round again only for it have been about a minute or sommit!

It gives you some canny trippy dreams aswell! I once had a morphine dream in the middle of the night where there was a window on the wall behind me in hospital and a door next to it beside my bed. when i went thru the door the room looked like my living room at the house in bedlington, all the lads sittin there smokin hyacinths etc gettin stoned. the only difference was that they were sat planning armed robberies and murders etc. whey i woke up canny quick in a panic. i spun round and was baffled as to where the door was and couldnt work out why the window wasnt there. for 10 mins i was stressing like mad thinkin 'i have to find them and stop the crazy twats!!!'.

kind of have a respect for it now.
