MAIN ROOM // THE MAD HATTER'S TECHNO PARTY RADIOACTIVE MAN LIVE - album launch party [lomotion // fabric live // two lone swordsmen] Radioactive Man returns to his north east home with a brand new live set previewing tracks from his forthcoming album, set to be the first proper artist album of the hugely successful Fabric Live series. TOKYO ACID CRU LIVE [testing out records] Tokyo Acid Cru are Testin Out Record’s techno / acid house supergroup with over 50 years techno, acid house and rave experience between them, and they’ve never failed to leave us gagging for more since there debut 2 years ago. KRIISTINA [lomotion // disco noir] Lisa Kriistina’s ex resident of Newcastle’s DISCO NOIR, now residing in London and is resident and co-promoter of Radioactive Man’s Lomotion night. DARKMODE LIVE [testing out records] Darkmode’s live set was named DJ Mag’s download of the month last year, and his EP (The Data) on Testin Out has barely been out of the North East charts since it’s release last year. Congratulations are now due for Darkmode’s second release on Impact Mechanics. SUADE [adapted vinyl] Adapted vinyl’s head honcho, Suade will be easing people into the mayhem to follow in his own classy deep techno style. *** ROOM 2 // THE RABBIT HOLE // Full live bands // reggae // breaks THE BAGHDADDIES [full live band] Newcastle’s most accomplished festival band The Baghdaddies never fail to ignite the dancefloor with their unique blend of balkan gypsy punk inspired madness. ASHRAM [full live reggae band] Where else other than Freaky Dancing would Newcastle’s favorite live reggae band perform their comeback gig after taking a 2 year sabbatical? For those with short memories, Ashram are an incredible live reggae band who for 5 years from 2000 (ish) onwards kept the reggae flame alive in Newcastle. RADIOACTIVE MAN [dj set] Following his live set in the main room, Keith takes to the decks in room 2 for an anything goes set taking in electro, breaks, dub and anything else that takes his fancy.
