    FREAKY DANCING ANNOUNCEMENT

    BAD NEWS
Due to delays in obtaining a work permit, DJ wordy will not now be playing at freaky dancing this Saturday, and will instead be playing at freaky dancing in april.

    GOOD NEWS
Freaky dancing will still be going ahead with a cheaper entry price.

The techno line up will now take over the main room, with Heavyweight now bringing the dubstep into the bigger room 2 on a full 10k turbosound rig, either side of The Guessmen's full live set, and all other artists still playing but across 3 rooms rather than 4.

We're sorry to lose DJ Wordy from the line up, but hope you'll agree that this is still a pretty mint line up, and should still be a wicked party.

    New line up...

    sat 9th feb @ newcastle university union // 10pm-3am // last entry 1am

    Main Room // Techno
ignition technician live // james smith // ant gould // suade

    room 2 // heavyweight // dubstep // electronica
    the guessmen live
dynamix // funk ethics // gareth hocking // Calculus // Edit

room 3 // ladies of lurve valentines party
    speed dating // blind date + djs Suzie D // lady k

**reduced entry price, now only £6 adv + bf for all // £7 nus // £8 on the door**

partial refunds available to ticket holders on the night, or full refunds from the shop you bought it at before the night (we have a list of the numbers of all tickets already sold)

Any plans on getting DJ Murphy back in toon?

I have missed him the last two, once being in Ibiza and the other not knowing who he was and leaving the night early

Last time Murphy played there was about 50 people in the Ballrooms, even if your not into Techno he is a must simply for the WOW factor, never seen anyone like him in my life.

    Octopus springs to mind.

you chose a bad one for your first freaky dancing, but I'm glad you enjoyed it... come down to one when we're back on form and not having dj cancellations and confusion meaning there weren't really enough people there to have a proper rave - if you enjoyed last night, you'll fucking love it when we're on form;)

apologies to anyone who came down and was dissapointed, I've no idea where everyone was, I guess the wordy cancellation hit us harder than I'd expected. We ended up only doing the 2 rooms as there was no point opening the 3rd room. There seemed to be a fair few for the guessmen and ignition technician at the end, but it was pretty empty early on.

We will be fully back on form for the Slam gig at the end of the month at the cosmic:wink: :cool2:
