Continuing our Cosmic Ballroom residency after 2 class parties with Ben Sims & Space DJz, Freaky Dancing is joined on Friday 26th May by a true underground techno legend for his first Newcastle gig in years... D.A.V.E The Drummer

D.A.V.E. (real name Henry Cullen) has released too many tracks & remixes to count over the last decade on his own Hydraulix and Apex labels, as well as on Cluster, Stay Up Forever, Euka tech, Pounding Grooves, Harthouse, Smitten, Bionic Orange, Hazchem, C.O.S.H.H, Noom, Primate, Molecular, Chris Liebing's CLR label and Fine Audio Recordings to name but a few.

Nah, next to Chris Liberator he's probably the biggest DJ to come from the London acid techno/squat party scene.

Proper nails techno, very similar to Liberator.

rest of the stories right, not sure where the D.A.V.E bit comes from, probably something daft like Digital Audio Visual Experience.

either that or his pet hamster was called dave when he was a kid:rolleyes:
