Freaky Dancing makes a long anticipated return to Newcastle University Union for our fancy dress Autumn Ball. Get your basques tightened and prepare for something a little bit special as we pay homage to the greatest nightclub that ever there was... The Moulin Rouge

Freaky Dancing are truely honoured to be joined for the night by a true dance music legend, Phil Hartnoll, previously one half of one of the biggest dance acts of all time, Orbital. Phil will be showcasing his new project Longrange with his new partner in crime Nick Smith, followed by a not to be missed Orbital Classics set.

Hardcore Beats owner ED 209 returns to Freaky Dancing alongside Ken Mac, following their storming performance at our last Valentine's Ball, with Radioactiveman also returning to headline the techno room.

Other highlights across the 4 rooms include a Testin Out Records Showcase featuring Suibom Serum, Elastik Trickery & Darkmode Live in the techno room, + genuine old skool rave DJ and Judgement Day resident, Smurf playing a rave classics set in the old skool room.

We're pulling out all the stops for this party in recreating some genuine Moulin Rouge style madness with our own troupe of Can Can Girls, Stilt Walkers, Fire Dancers, and Samba Drummers performing through the night, + full moulin rouge decor, live visuals & lasers.

Whatever you do, make sure you don't miss this party, it's going to be legendary

Cheers, spoke to Phil and Nick today, they're well looking forward to it :cool2:

Don't know if anyone else caught Phil Hartnoll's set at the Glade, but the place went nuts when he launched into his Orbital stuff towards the end - the Orbital stuff still sounds as good as ever in my opinion:wink:

Not sure - out on Friday, so depends how much I spend.

With free entry and half a bottle of vod at home, this becomes a much more financially appealing option :D

Errm, will you still be able to buy advance tickets after Saturday lunchtime?

I mean, I don't want to waste £2 by getting one on the door, but on the other hand, I don't want to buy one now and be stuck with it when I win the competition :D
